Scheduled Power Outages
Between Saturday 2 September 2023 and Thursday 7 September 2023, Roxby Power will conduct maintenance of the High Voltage Distribution System for the Roxby Downs Township. Power disruptions are expected last for a period of up to 5 hours.

- Inspection and washing of high voltage cables and joints.
- Inspection, maintenance and testing operation of high voltage switches and fuses.
- Inspection of low voltage cable joints, switches, and fuse carriers in the transformers.
- Taking oil samples, replacing oil in some transformers, and checking for oil leaks.
- Testing of transformer windings and insulation.
All work is conducted by qualified specialists.
The zoned areas are dictated by the layout of the electrical distribution system.
- We are required to do maintenance work as part of our Roxby Power distribution licence. Each zone needs to be totally isolated to allow Roxby Power contractors to work on cables.
