Roxby Downs has many offerings for children and young people.
For the younger crowd, Roxby is often referred to as 'the perfect town for young families'. Daily activities are available for children aged 0-5 years, including toddler story-time at the Community Library, dance lessons, playgroups, Lego Club, Kids Club, Splashpad, swimming pools, neighbourhood playgrounds and more.
Roxby Downs offers youth aged 10-18 a range of events, activities and games at the Community Youth Centre (CYC), which is a modern and inviting space equipped with many great features, including an industrial kitchen.

The Roxbylink facility features a 60 seat movie theatre which regularly features popular feature films.
Sport is a particularly popular past-time for many. Roxby has a full array of sporting facilities and clubs and even the Roxby Junior Sports Academy for select talented athletes across all sports in Roxby Downs.
