The Art Room musings of the 2022 RDAS Students

Making art is often not about the final product but about the process of making itself. Students of art at any stage often feel that their work is not good enough - this is because your brain is learning faster than your hands.
Students often need to be reminded that making art, becoming an artist is a progression on a scale that never has an end.
This exhibition is a reminder of that - all students have demonstrated where they are on that scale, and where their interests in visual arts lie. As a teacher of visual arts, I will never get tired of seeing the incredible scope of artworks that students produce within the same task.
