18 November 2020 Update

In response to the re-emergence of COVID-19 in the South Australian community the State Coordinator has updated the Emergency Declaration under the Emergency Management Act 2004. There are a significant number of operating constraints created by COVID-19.  Primary considerations for Council and the State Government are public health and the safety of the community as well as the delivery of essential services.

Council must comply with the directions of the State Government.  The SA Police Commissioner determines the regulatory environment under which we can operate, having regard for social distancing, public activities and gatherings.

Please find below a summary of impacts on Council services and facilities from midnight on Wednesday 18 November 2020 for the duration of 6 days.  Noting that the impacts to services and facilities are subject to changes based upon any new directives which may be announced by State Government and SA Health.
