Camping
Roxby Downs doesn't have any official free camping sites. Overnight parking (48hr) is available at the rest area 1km E of Roxby Downs. Self-contained vehicles only.
Andamooka has a low cost Caravan and Camping Ground, located just on the left as you come in to Andamooka from Roxby. $5 per person per night unpowered or $15 per night per van for power, payment is by honour system with cash lodged in a collection pillar adjacent to the BBQ kitchen. The facility offers fresh water, waste pump out, and an ablution block with hot showers, plus an undercover camp-kitchen/BBQ facility. For families there is a large undercover playground and skate park.
