Main Oval Lighting Upgrade is Complete and the lights are on!

The new LED lights at the Roxby Main Oval were powered up for the first time on Wednesday night for the start of the Roxby Downs T20 Cricket Competition.
The lights provide a dramatic improvement on the previous lighting, with a whopping 500 LUX (unit of illuminance) around the centre of the oval tapering to 300 LUX around the perimeter. There are a total of 52 LED lights (13 on each pole). The lights can be adjusted to provide varying levels of lighting intensity whilst maintaining an even spread of light across playing surfaces.
The lighting delivered an improved experience for both players and spectators alike.
Roxby's T20 competition runs on Wednesday and Thursday nights from 6:30 - 9:30pm.
