Northern Water Environmental Impact Statement on Public Exhibition
Have your say on the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Northern Water Project
The EIS assesses the environmental, social and economic benefits and impacts of constructing the proposed desalination plant at Mullaquana Station, the transfer system pipeline and associated marine and electrical infrastructure.
The document brings together detailed technical investigations undertaken by specialists across a broad range of subject areas and provides a single assessment document for consideration by government agencies, stakeholders and the community.
Submissions on the EIS close at: 11:59pm Friday, 11 December 2026
