DRAFT REGIONAL PUBLIC HEALTH PLAN 2024 - 2029
Pursuant to Sections 51 of the South Australian Public Health Act 2011, notice is hereby given that at its Ordinary Meeting on 28 February 2024, the Municipal Council of Roxby Downs (Roxby Council) endorsed its Draft Regional Public Health Plan 2024 – 2029 for release to public consultation.
The Municipal Council of Roxby Downs (Roxby Council) has a fundamental role in protecting and promoting the health and wellbeing of our local community. Council delivers a range of core functions and services that influence our community’s health and wellbeing. This Draft Public Health Plan identifies those core functions and provides a framework to enhance the understanding of public health priorities for the community, consequently supporting improved public health and wellbeing outcomes.
Council encourages residents, ratepayers, local businesses, and health providers to take a look at our Draft Plan and provide feedback by COB Monday, 17 June 2024.
Formal written submissions will be received at the Roxby Council Office, 6 Richardson Place, Roxby Downs, by mail at Roxby Council, PO Box 124 Roxby Downs SA 5725, or by email to consultation@roxbycouncil.com.au before close of business on Monday, 17 June 2024.
Copies of the Roxby Downs Regional Health Plan 2024-2029 are available at these locations throughout the consultation period.
