Please note:

- When submitting your enquiry please take into consideration our conditions of entry and conditions of use documents.

- All external businesses / community groups using our space are required to provide a valid certificate of currency prior to their booking.

- Any privates hirers must gain permission for any external services hired while using our space. Eg: party hire equipment, face painter or private caterer.

Facilities Overview

Auditorium

A large function space that can be tailored to your needs. Ideal for conferences, fundraising events, live performances and presentation nights.

Capacity: 350 theatre style seating (flat floor) | 200 sit down (10 per round table) | 300 standing (licensed) | 500 standing (unlicensed)

Facilities: Bar facilities, raised stage, theatre style sound, lighting and projection, catering available in house or kitchen hire available by negotiation.

Equipment available: Projector and screen, house audio, lectern, simple stage lighting, mood lighting, round tables, trestle tables, chairs and black chair covers, black or white table cloths, red carpet and bollards.

Cinema / Theatrette

A 60 seat theatrette, ideal for for fundraising events, large presentations and community or corporate information sessions.

Capacity: Seats 60, additional tables and chairs available for speakers / panel.

Facilities: Digital cinema projection with 5.1 surround sound, lectern and microphone. Catering also available.

Equipment available: Trestle tables, chairs, black or white tablecloths, whiteboard.

Community Youth Centre (CYC)

Available outside of designated youth hours - after school drop in (Monday - Friday 2pm to 5pm), school holiday and student free days. The space consists of a multipurpose space and commercial kitchen, kitchen can be separated from the main multipurpose space. The multipurpose space is ideal for group training sessions, consultations and community events. The commercial kitchen is decked out ready for cooking demonstrations and can be hired by private caterers.

Facilities: Projector and screen, speaker system for music (connect your device with an AUX cord), microphone and commercial kitchen.

The Community Youth Centre is also available to hire for birthday parties. You can hire the multipurpose space alone or along with the adjoining kitchen. Included in the hire fee is use of the air hockey table, fuse ball table, projector and screen and speaker system for music - (connect your device with an AUX cord)

Additional extras can be added including; a range of giant outdoor games or video console games (to be negotiated with YAC - Youth Advisory Committee)

Please note that this space is a licensed premise and alcohol is not to be consumed on site, please speak to staff about options regarding serving alcohol at your event if required.

Dunes Cafe

Available for after hours events, a smaller space that can be tailored to your needs. Ideal for cocktail functions, small intimate events and community or corporate information sessions.

Facilities: Bar facilities, catering available in house or kitchen hire available by negotiation.

Equipment available: Portable projector and screen, portable sound system, lectern, trestle tables, black or white tablecloths, whiteboard.

Library Meeting Room

Available outside of Library opening hours - Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm & Saturday 9am - 2pm. Ideal for small meetings and presentations.

Capacity: Seats 10

Facilities: Projector and screen, charging points in centre of table, room dividers to turn room into a private space. Catering available.
